Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

My concept stems from an everyday issue in my daily life, foodnapping; when somebody steals food. My idea is to create a stickered label system to allocate food to its rightful owner. This sticker system aims to create visual dialogue between household members to prevent food from being stolen. It also aims to create peaceful dialogue between members over food and to help identify whom the culprit is.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

Personalized stickers that will be created through an phone application.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

- Will stop food from being stolen
- Could potentially avoid unnecessary arguments between household members.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

From creating this work, I learn’t that communication in a house hold and between people in general, is very important, not just when it comes to food! It is important to communication with those whom you live with in order to have a comfortable and enjoyable environment to live it.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

My work can be defines as ‘Good advertising design work’, because it explores social controls and indivual needs. It involves social controls in the aspect of reforming trust and honestly within a particular community such as a family home. It meets individual needs by creating trust and calm, friendly dialogue between household or work members.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

This work can be implemented anywhere - it was created to notify others of which item belongs to whom. For example; it can be used in the office to label lunches or, in my case, used to label food I h’ve purchased and placed in the fridge.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

My intervention did not have an effect on other media
