Description of idea
Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:
poster "brainwashed" is a critic to the modern way of living, based on uncontrolable purchasing of completely unnecessary things, which is a consequence of omnipresent advertising. surrounded by ads which promote fake needs, and way of life based on consumerism, viewer becomes an advertising victim, who now lives quasilife through meaningles products, dictated by media. and, after a while, that way of life leads to irreversible debts.
What kind of communication approach do you use?
i used element of fear - the artwork is based on a surreal, dark scene.
What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?
people should think about media, messages and way of life it is trying to influence on them. they should be aware that they are manipulated.
What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?
i learned to distinguish valuable informations from another ones, sent by tv, newspapers and internet. also, i became much more reasonable when i do shopping, avoiding debts based on uncontrolable spending.
Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?
it is attractive, and sends very strong message.
Where and how do you intent do implement your work?
it could be implemented in posters, buillboards, even in galleries.
