Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

Food is being owned by companies; companies that modify it, as if it was some kind of experiment. Then they label it, and sell it for its consumption. We're living in a world where manufactured things are becoming more important to people than natural resources; our own food has become a product for masses to consume.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

The communication approach used in this work I believe is informative, it pretends to inform about transgenic food.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

“100% Updated food” has a message that people can easily understand, it makes them aware of the inorganic products that we ca find in supermarkets and grocery stores and that are being genetically modified to look, taste, and be "better" than organic products.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

I learned that the world I thought I was living was nothing as it seemed to be, I learned that we're not appreciating everything nature gives to us, and that human kind should stop trying to control everything that is not meant to be controlled.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

I think my work it's good communication work because it shows what technology's making to our lives, it was supposed to help us live better, but better should also be healthier, happier and smarter. Now even some of our food is somehow a piece of junk.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

I intent to implement my work in my social groups (friends, family, co-workers, acquaintances), by making them know how perjudicial this kind of food can be, and also letting them know that nature can provide us with what's necessary to our lives, but just like nature gives us something so useful and vital we should give something in return, we must take care of nature.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

Not yet.
