About work
Abstract
This piece is about three friends and their adventure to a bush festival. It explores the concept by looking at the interpersonal relationships of these three friends, and how dialogue fails them. Because of their different individual states of mind, the dialogue or lack thereof is an integral part of the story, and speaks to the idea that in certain situations discourse is a tightrope. The right way of approaching dialogue in personal situations can often be unclear, and one slight misstep can lead to catastrophe.
