Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

Life is a journey. When people walk the road some of them turned different, and other of them never changed. People barely looking back and think of why it happened. We thought the dialogue between past and future, between individual and he himself is going to fail, especially recently. However, it is important for everyone to look at himself or herself and ask –what is my dream when I was young, how it goes, and if there is a chance to go back to my childhood (like ten years ago) what would I say to myself? Through these questions, we try to find why the dialogue is failing and to understand deeply the value of today.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

Recording the interview Documentary & analyzing Graphic communication (poster)

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

What we done, gives people a chance to push the pause button of their lifetime. A person’s value, an individual’s success, even the development of the society needs a break to look back. We believe whatever we experienced is worth reconsideration and have a reference value. To remember and keep the initial passion of living are more important than remember the goal of future. Further more, knowing the value of ourselves is to know what we can do for the society, and how can we contribute to the society.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

The project gives me a chance to rethink my dream, my changes and myself. The direction of my road was change a little bit from my initial way when I grew up. Because of the reality and some advice from my parents and my tutors. There was a thing in my mind that I considered to start over more than thousand times. The regret makes me feel suffering. However, now I kind feel it was ok to have something wrong or bad in mind, and I realize I do learn something from that stuff. The answers that the interviewees gave inspirited me, encouraged me a lot.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

We believe our work has strong responsibility in communication area. The reasons are: 1. It is a short documentary film so it is quite reliable. We are trying to uses real and ordinary examples to tell people to look back and never do something regret. 2. The posters have clearly visual effect that combined by photo and text. While you read the words, you also see the half faces that represent old and young. I believe they will let people think about their life.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

This video will be put on social network such as YouTube(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrYtN3_pVKA)& Vimeo (also can be share by friends), therefore for everybody to look at and reflect in their mind.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

The media we choice is video through interview different people in different age group, which gives multi perspective of answers. We think the result is quite different that is good for different audience to feel on their own way.
