Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

I used and article that took a look at Aldous Huxley's novel Brave New World. Taking a look at the dystopia he created and how it has played out into modern days. Would Huxley be happy, or mortified? Is pleasure the same as being detached?

What kind of communication approach do you use?

I used a visual metaphoric communication method. The viewer needs to take a step back to understand the implication of the characters and their purpose in the image.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

Allowing society to take an inner look at a messed up dystopia that has come to life. For people to realize if that is something they are proud of or want to change. Is their real authentic pleasure in devices and technology?

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

I learned how to manipulate photographs to derive a new meaning.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

People who are viewing can take their own approach to understanding and getting a meaning out of the image. This develops a conversation that can and should be discussed for anyone who is affected by the new age.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

I see it as an image online that makes a viewer stop and try to take in a new meaning and understanding.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

Being a class project, it has not had an effect on other media.
