Description of idea
Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:
sex sells, I suppose ... our subconsciousness is manipulated daily with subtle messages, erotic notes and connotations, with carefully chosen color and image ... how powerful is the naked body? and what is it about the body that astonishes us every time? how far did the industry used the body and did it lost its powers? do we have to keep it a bit hidden in order to catch some attention?
what is that we want from the body anyway, love?
so I've combined the three divine, mythical prsonas, possibly fatal, with raw forms and shapes of the nothing but a naked body.
What kind of communication approach do you use?
I found poster as very powerful medium for expressing my most impossible feelings. Art is universal language, speaking through everyones brain and a poster is a perfect medium for displaying drawn words not necessary expressed with alphabet.
What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?
I believe that there is a fine line between a criticism and fascism. I believe that there is a fine line between a principal and ideology. All I want is to stay behind that fine line, not to cross over and I believe that visual communication will help me stay sharp. With my knowledge and understanding of how society functions I'm trying to set some alarms on my way. I'm not demanding for everyone to be like me, that would make me a fascist and if I would want everyone to worship my work, it would made me a religion.
What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?
In order to make my first collection of erotic poster I had to rethink all I knew about the world I know. I had to recognize a value in the message and work with delicate subject as sex. when it comes to sex things get complicated, when you have to display it on poster, things get even more complicated, that's why you need to make it simple.
Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?
It contains minimum amount of elements for creating a powerful statement.
Where and how do you intent do implement your work?
I had a wish to continue my work in this direction and have an option to make a public gallery exhibition. for this work particularly I want to try to test its powers in monumental scales.
Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)
