Subfield description
Well I explore the borders of visual and verbal art through the mediums of drawing, collage, and painting. I'm drawing inspiration from different cities and venues I divide my time, like Berlin, Copenhagen, NYC, and Lyon. I'm exhibiting all over, but the gallery that represents me is in Cologne, Germany. It's called Colourblind Gallery. (www.colourblindgallery.com)

Description of idea
Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:
The idea behind it is to get people to be more kind and share their humanity, love, understanding, resolve conflict with imagination, and the heart. Some examples would be a simple greeting of Hello to a stranger on the street or if you see an elderly person crossing the street having trouble walking or carrying a heavy bag , why not ask them if they need a bit of help. I think the more we think of others the more others will think of you. It really is about what you put out you get back and we need to be reminded of this. We are all connected and need one another. It really is that simple if we are going to survive as a species on this planet and I feel that's what the outline is about for me.
What kind of communication approach do you use?
Well my strong points are coming from my artistic talents. I have dyslexia so writing has been something I've struggled my whole life with so I relay on a visual approach to communicate my concepts and ideas.
What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?
I would like to think people can take away a feeling of being a bit more open minded to things that are outside their normal way of thinking. I would like to feel people can let themselves feel something positive from the visual exposure. I would also hope the image would reappear in their minds when a conflict arises and they see the image and what it represents. Perhaps it will stop the negative from taking over in the heart.
What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?
I think for me that one can creative something powerful and positive without having to scream or shout it out over a loud speaker. It's sorta like finding a beautiful tiny flower in the middle of a landfill of trash.
Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?
I feel my work is direct in a playful and giving sense. You aren't being hit over the head with a million different images saying, " You should be like..blah,blah, blah," but more like a sweet summer breeze from a special moment in ones childhood when everything felt safe and perfect.
Where and how do you intent do implement your work?
I would like to have poster place in heavy traffic area where people are walking to their own tune. Sooner or later people will begin to notice the beautiful tiny flower in the middle of the concrete jungle. I would like to have postcards(physical and digital using email) and place them in different government, city agencies, and public place such as cafes and parks.
Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)
