Subfield description

We are A/I, Autistici/Inventati. Our objective is to liberate spaces on the web where we can discuss and work on two levels: on the one hand, the right to and need for free communication privacy, anonimity and access to telematic resources; on the other, projects linked to social reality.

Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

The posters are realized for the activist blogging platform Noblogs.org. Using an ultra-pop appeal, they try to re-work radical imaginary, de-constructing the traditional militant visual approach to communication and re-constructing it into a love-full design.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

We use a militant-pop communication that does not constraints itself nor in the realm of pop or in that one of militancy.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

We want to encourage militants, social innovators and radical thinkers to re-invent their imaginary. This can led to a brand new world of activism.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

That Information Disorder Was Not Enough

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

Because it challenges all kinds of people in many different ways. It's funny, but at the same time it's never entirely linear and safe.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

The work has 3 main dimensions: posters; on-line; and t-shirts. T-shirts are sold for funding the Noblogs platform.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)
