Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

Love and Power are two different things. Love is about affection and respect; Power is about control. These two are often at odds with each other and cause conflict. Through my work, I wanted to illustrate the concept of this inevitable Conflict between Love and Power.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

I tried to use metaphors for both Love and Power: a flower representing Love while a pig representing Power. And I generated graphic translation of these two subjects and combined them into one graphic to reflect the concept.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

My work will help the viewer rethink about the relation between Love and Power and how most Love relationships come apart because of an imbalance or misuse of Power.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

I learned how to represent two different/opposite subjects in one figure. :)

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

I think my work is pretty simple yet metaphoric, which would strongly attract the viewers’ attention.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

(I haven't really thought about it yet.)

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)
