Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

Most of the banks give you a lot of promises. They always use attractive slogans , like "with no strings attached!" My work is a single photograph that shows a man with an invisible string attached to his pocket, stopping him from moving from forward from an empty place towards Dubai's skyscrapers. This is a metaphor for moving toward success and being financial stable. However, the photograph is ironic at the same time, because Dubai's skyscraper is the main reason for Dubai's debt.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

Mainly to discourage my viewers for taking loans. And spread awareness.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

A photograph can a lot of stories. At the same time it allows the viewers to think and trigger their thoughts.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

A photograph can a lot of stories. At the same time it allows the viewers to think and trigger their thoughts.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

Spreading awareness is my main goal. Spreading my photograph is my secondary goal. Those two goals cant be achieved without each other. So basically everywhere, if I can.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

No, this photograph was taken for Memefest from the start.
