Description of idea
Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:
"Trapped, Suffocated, Drowning - another name for Debt.
He doesn't know how he got there and even worse when he got in that deep"
What kind of communication approach do you use?
Using a shocking picture that symbolizes the problem and consequences of Debt.
What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?
Problems of debt are always heard and not talked about to the point that people have become indifferent to it. I hope that through this picture people will wake up and realize that there are people suffering and that it is a problem.
What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?
I learnt that apart from problems like AIDS, global warming if it doesn't affect the mass then no one actually cares. Before this problem becomes a problem on a global scale we should start remedying it domestically.
Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?
Because it aims at raising awareness of a problem that the community either has become indifferent to or they just choose to ignore.
Where and how do you intent do implement your work?
It will start with this picture and then try to raise awareness by actively reaching out to people who are predicted to take loans. Also it would be beneficial for banks to state the truth of what debt leads people to.
Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)
No.
