Description of idea

Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

We are told to spend like we have all the money in the world. We constantly live beyond our means (western attitude) Credit cards are the ultimate illusion of wealth. I ask is our credit unlimited? How unlimited is our debt? I've played with the phonetics of the word credit, to incorporate 'debt'.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

I used static digital type, written in helvetica to remain as neutral (whatever that means) as possible. It is a meme after all.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

Concrete benefits? wow... nothing is concrete.

Umm hopefully people get a chuckle out of my play on words, and reflect upon their spending habits and their relationship with their credit card.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

I learned that there is endless possibilities in the world of wordplay.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

Its legible, cheeky, simplistic aesthetically, and has something to ponder.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

Right now this exists in a digital realm. It could be an internet meme, but I usually work on the street. Printing this message or spraying it on something could reach more people in a more dramatic way.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

This message really hasn't been seen by anyone yet.
