Describe your idea and concept of your work in relation to the festival outlines:

Using waste materials to highlight how "clever/slick" advertising has people buying things and then throwing them away even if there is nothing wrong with it. The detrimental effect this has on the natural environment.

What kind of communication approach do you use?

This is visual.

What are in your opinion concrete benefits to the society because of your communication?

Showing how many have become dependent on a corporate owned media for "news" and more, without questioning what we are being "fed" on a daily basis.

What did you personally learn from creating your submitted work?

Just how much I have moved away from "mainstream" society, although I have been painting on these (50 or so in the UK, Spain, and this was one of three done in Costa Rica in 2011) for about 9 years since becoming a non-television watcher.

Why is your work, GOOD communication WORK?

Because it uses the television to question and promote other ideas.

Where and how do you intent do implement your work?

This,hopefully,is still in the location where painted.

Did your intervention had an effect on other Media. If yes, describe the effect? (Has other media reported on it- how? Were you able to change other media with your work- how?)

Have no idea as I left there shortly after it was completed but do know that a number of people took photographs.
