Stane Špegel aka HouseMouse aka Stanislav is a composer, instrumentalist, producer and author of the multimedia content on the Slovenian art scene and is being active for a quarter of century. He released ten music albums as a solo artist and seven as a member of the various music teams (Amfibia, Neurobic, Kissik, Dig, Bionet ...). As a member of the collective Microtrip he appeared on all major and most important festival of electronic and experimental music in Slovenia, Croatia and Austria in past ten years. His works have been published in several national and international compilations, and are available both through the largest online store Amazon and in most of the world's online music services. He also produces radio and TV jingles and music for theatrical and dance performances and celebrations.

In addition to his own works Stane Špegel also deals with remixing for other authors. He remixed few tracks of funky-jazz band Elevators, the song »Lucky And Unhappy« of famous French duo Air, some songs of Dutch artist Jamez, he remixed German artist Chris Liebing and one of the leading German reggae group Sunburn In Cyprus, Eurovision pop tune »Only Love« of notorious Sisters…. In September 2003 he entered into an international tender for the adaptation of the classic songs and his musical vision of creation Erika Satiea »Gymnopedie No. 1 « ranked among the top three. It was also ranked among the top ten with a series of adaptations of American and Canadian musicians (Johnny Cash, Rose, Rubicon ...). Year 2010 is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Frédéric Chopin so Stane Špegel marked it with the album “Chopin Remodeled”. The eight arrangements of Chopin's masterpieces are accompanied by video films.

He authored more than twenty separate music-visual performances / exhibitions in which his sculptures, photo-manipulation prints, relief landscapes and video films are accompanied by his music. In 2007, the project Reflections and Echoes received a special recognition of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce for its innovative approach to the integration of art and economy. With its video works he participated in several national and international video festivals. He authored, co-wrote and directored several celebrations and cultural and sporting events.
