The Radical Design Podcast

The Radical Design Podcast is a special show re-thinking the radical potentials of design. We aim to understand the world better through deep conversations with people who are doing significant things. Operating as an “Independent Audio Zine” the podcast facilitates collaborative, dialogic exchanges, adventures in thought and ideas. We usually publish a new episode every month.

We're exploring the (often hidden) ways that design influences everything from our desires to our communities. Design, we argue, is - for the better or for worse- at the center of our lives and our relations with the world. We are interested in design emerging in the undercurrents, kicking capitalism while its down.

PS: Our special series Radical Intimacies features deep dialogues in non -extractive design around ideas presented in the book Radical Intimacies: Designing Non-Extractive Relationalities. The book's five sections explore dialogue, power, land, interventions, and radical praxis and so our first podcast series focuses on these themes. Oliver Vodeb is in conversation with the amazing co-contributors to the book. *The podcast series is a collaboration and co-production with Intellect Publishers.
